Single-end face modular design: Features just one pair of sealing contact surfaces, pre-assembled by the sealing manufacturer before leaving the factory—no customer adjustments required; simply install and go. Easy to mount and straightforward to use. Cooling water pressure should be maintained between 0.05 and 0.1 MPa.

Single-end face seals are further divided into two types: internally mounted (where the entire seal assembly, including the large flange, is fully submerged in the slurry; this type is assembled from the impeller end toward the motor end) and externally mounted (where only a small portion of the seal assembly is immersed in the slurry; this type is assembled from the motor end toward the impeller end).

Structural features:

Single-face (external or internal mounting) cartridge-type mechanical seal. Easy to install and simple to use. Balanced design, with optional rotation direction.

Internal working length is short. The stationary ring features multi-spring external compensation that does not come into contact with the medium.

Applicable medium:

A medium with a high content of impurities such as gypsum and lime slurry.

Work parameters:

Fixed content: ≤30%

Temperature: ≤280℃

Pressure: ≤2.5 MPa

Shaft diameter: ≤200 mm

Main applications:

Installation and Usage Requirements:

1. The radial runout of the equipment shaft should not exceed 0.04 mm, and the axial play must be no more than 0.1 mm.   
2. The sealing cavity areas of the equipment should be kept clean during installation, and sealing components must be thoroughly cleaned. Ensure that the sealing end faces remain intact to prevent contaminants and dust from entering the sealing area.   
3. During installation, avoid any impact or hammering to prevent damaging the mechanical seal through friction, which could lead to sealing failure.   
4. During installation, apply a layer of clean machine oil to the surfaces that will come into contact with the seal, ensuring smooth installation.   
5. When installing the stationary ring gland, tighten the screws evenly to ensure the stationary ring face is perpendicular to the shaft centerline.   
6. After installation, gently push the moving ring by hand to ensure it moves freely along the shaft while maintaining some elasticity.   
7. After installation, manually rotate the shaft—there should be no sensation of unevenness or heaviness.   
8. Before starting operation, the equipment must be fully charged with the medium to prevent dry friction, which could lead to seal failure.
